Lynn Cohen, Sex and the City Star Dies on Valentine Day

Lynn Cohen was announced to be dead on Friday, 14 February 2020, in New York by her manager Josh Pultz. The cause of her death is still unknown. The family has not announced the funeral plans.

 She is known as her role in the “Sex and the City” movie on 2008 an 2010 and in the HBO series as Magda, the nanny employed by the main character, Miranda Hobbes. She is a veteran actress and has played a role in big screen projects including Steven Spielberg’s “Munich” and “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” and more. In the movie “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” she played as Mags who leave a strong impression to the viewers.

Lynn Harriette Kay or better known as Lynn Cohen was born in Kansas City, US, on 10 August 1933. She was an American actress since 1979. She has one child and married twice. She married to Gilbert L. Frazen on 1957, and then died on 1960. She then married again to Ronald T. Cohen in 1964.

Her career is started when she appeared on the Off-Broadway productions in 1970. She received awards from Drama League Award and Lucille Lortel Awards. In 1993, she played her very first role in the comedy film Manhattan Murder Mystery. She was also appear in NBC Law & Order with the total 12 episodes and also be a guest star in NYPD Blue, Law & Order Criminal Intent, Damages and;  Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. The other movie aside from Sex and City and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is Vanya on 42nd street, New York, Golda Meir, Synecdoche and Eagle Eye.

Recently, in 2018, she played in the Amazon Prime Series called “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and hit many viewers.
